MIŁOSZ SROCZYŃSKI
PIANIST
ABOUT
“The author confesses: in all his decades with this music, he has never heard, felt, lived it quite like this. A Sternstunde.”
Erhard Metz

“This is Bach’s monument written in stone. This was the authority of Rosalyn Tureck who was known as the high priestess of Bach.”
Christopher Axworthy

Miłosz Sroczyński is a pianist with many strings to his bow — as comfortable with Bach, whose Goldberg Variations he has just recorded, as he is with the newest music.
His debut at the 2024 Davos Festival with the Goldberg Variations brought an immediate re-invitation for 2025. Both appearances presented a wide spectrum of chamber music repertoire, including Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time. In 2025 he also made his debut at the Tonhalle Zurich with the world premiere of a contemporary chamber music work. In 2026 he will be part of the Instrumental Residency at the Festival d'Aix-en- Provence, working under the guidance of Pierre-Laurent Aimard.
His debut album was released by Genuin Classics in February 2026. The release tour took him to Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Bad Homburg, Zürich and Luzern. Critic Erhard Metz of FeuilletonFrankfurt called him an „Ausnahmepianist" — an exceptional pianist — and described the concert as a „Sternstunde". In 2026 his concerts take him further to Hamburg, London, Morges, Mainz and Essen, among other cities. 2027 will bring performances of Beethoven's last three sonatas, marking the 200th anniversary of his death. He is also preparing a complete cycle of Shostakovich's Preludes and Fugues.
Miłosz Sroczyński's musical formation began in Poznań, continuing in Hanover, Geneva with Cédric Pescia, and Zurich with Konstantin Scherbakov and Christoph Berner. He holds the Artist Diploma from the Royal College of Music in London, where as a scholarship holder he studied with the legendary pianist and teacher Prof. Norma Fisher. He has received artistic guidance from Elisabeth Leonskaja, Tamara Stefanovich, Janina Fialkowska, and Pierre-Laurent Aimard. He is experienced with both modern and historical pianos and has won awards at several piano competitions, as well as receiving numerous scholarships from Swiss, Polish, British, and Israeli institutions.
